MERCURY is a toxic heavy metal: smokestack emissions will
make the Colorado River un-fishable
(same as Houston Ship Channel) seafood from Matagorda County shrimp
& fish farms will be unfit for human consumption (loss of income for
Matagorda County Seafood Farms)
1/70th of a teaspoon MERCURY wind-borne onto a 20-acre lake will
make the fish unfit to eat and White Stallion will dump 100 lbs of
poisonous MERCURY every year onto the
Colorado River, Matagorda Bay, local Matagorda County Seafood Farms.
Lavaca Bay has been a EPA SuperFund Site since 1993 due to MERCURY
- since 1988 has been closed to the taking of fish and crabs by the
Texas Department of State Health Services.

"CLEAN COAL"
is a lie.
"Clean Coal" is multi-million-dollar PR campaign by the
Coal Industry to persuade the public and elected officials to support coal
despite the harmful effects of coal generation on public health and the
environment.

"The heart of this film is really about issues of health, future generations
and the value of our own land and resources. The film was made
to support the story of the Texas coalition and their struggle against a
giant power company. It is our way of giving other states and communities
a model for what can happen when people take personal responsibility and
get results. We want to let people know that they don't have to give
up hope.
